great buy overall

Pros: much better than the standard tailpiece that came with my chinese violin - fine tuners on all strings great

Cons: no instructions on how to set up the tailpiece (length of tailgut etc). as a beginner this would have helped.

Wittner Ultralight tailpiece. good value . no prob

Pros: I fitted this on a pupils violin. Easy to fit . Pupil is enjoying being able to tune their strings easily. Does the job very well.

Great - easy to fit & A1 for micro string tension

Pros: Lightweight and easy to fit. They gave me back the 6:1 free string to bridged string ratio so often quoted by luthiers, whilst retaining the benefit of micro adjusment of string tension.

Fully adjustable, compatible with many strings

Pros: It was very easy to install and the tuners turn very smoothly. It looks good and strings can be set up very easily and securely. It is also made of a very light plastic material which complements the Wittner Chinrest.

Cons: No problems.
