Prices are PER PEG.
These clever pegs enable easy and accurate tuning without the need for fine tuners on the tailpiece. Professional fitting strongly advised. Pegs sized by diameter of the shaft at the collar. See illustration.
To allow for fitting, the peg side hole in the pegbox of the instrument should be a minimum of 1mm less than this diameter.
Please note the use of a tapered reamer is essential to fit these pegs correctly. Click here for details of this product.

Fine tune Viola d'amour sympathetic strings.
Pros: The pegs were reasonably easy to fit. They work well and solved a problem of fine tuning the sympathetic strings on a viola d'amour.
Cons: They look a little dull and don't fit well with the rosewood pegs of the playing strings.
Other: I did in fact end up with 6 Viola 9.2mm diameter pegs - the violin peg I bought as a trial did not fit.

Pros: Accurate easy tuning was the result whilst holding on to a traditional look.
Cons: Not so much a con but remember you will also need a violin peg box reamer which will cost at least half the price of the pegs plus a reasonable level of diy skill......unless that is you know a friendly luthier to do it for you.

Pros: It works alright, the material is advanced (composite), really looks like ebony, relatively easy to install, No need to push and pull, the weight is reasonable....
Cons: Need to be really careful in reaming, I suggest to ream the peg box just to the diameter of the static part end of the peg just closest to the moving shaft. Otherwise you will easily get over-reamed.....
Other: For stronger fit, I put a dab of super-glue....
