Ergonomically designed for maximum playing comfort. Unique swivelling leg brackets allows the the bar of the rest to be set lower on the instrument than other rests without increasing the risk of the rest falling off.

Pros: I reckon this one is probably the best shoulder rest I am going to find for my requirements i.e. it suits me in all respects - recognising that, like chin-rests, they are a very personal matter. It is ergonomically functional, aesthetically pleasing and lightweight - just about perfect.
Cons: Nothing whatsoever to dislike.
Other: The String Zone service is second to none. Always helpful and informative with any queries. Orders are well packaged and swiftly dispatched - excellent in all respects.

Pros: -Can be moved to the position you want it for comfort -Snug fit to the violin - forever fed up of my shoulder rest falling off but this one is a tight fit and can be adjusted easily
Cons: No cons bar the fact that the legs (shown a white/silvery cover in the picture) were black when I received it - but this doesn't affect anything to do with the shoulder rest and is only a very very minor complaint
Other: the stringzone service is brilliant, i've never had to wait more than a day (or two) for my order- very efficient

A superb violin shoulder rest!
Pros: A superb product which I've used on my violas for several years, so I've just acquired a violin (for fiddle music) and no hesitation of fitting one straight away. Very happy and recommend this shoulder rest!
Cons: None for me, but some may regard this as expensive.
Other: Excellent service from String Zone as always.

Really nice, definitely worth trying out
Pros: Very comfortable, easy adjustment and pretty solid on my instrument
Cons: Slightly unusual set up but don't let it put you off
Other: This was one of three shoulder rests I tried, and all three were good. Just so happens one fitted slightly better than this one

Beautifully made and actually improved sound.
Pros: First time with a shoulder rest after 30 odd years without one. Really good looking rest and once adjusted was very comfortable. It can be set very low without worries about contact with the instrument which enables use with a Flesch style chin rest. The feet can get twisted round, adjusting the setting, if stored in a case. The most noticeable thing was the improvement in sound on the instrument - something I was not expecting and the main reason I'd opted not to use one in the past - 30 wasted years!!!!
Cons: Only negative is the lack of fore - aft adjustment. Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

The best on the market for free mvt
Pros: I already had the cheap plastic version of this rest & thought I would treat myself to a diamond version. This is basically the only type of rest which I have found to work with both side & centre chin rests. Beautifully made & so comfortable that I forget I'm using it! The plastic version is also very well made & more comfortable for children than any other I have found.
Cons: Weirdly, the plastic version still sounds nicer when used with a carbon fibre bow. But paired with a wooden bow the sound improvements are amazing

Great shoulder rest for a boy with very long neck
Pros: Beautifully made, son has a problem with getting a good shoulder rest to his posture; this one is perfect after trying so many
Cons: NA
Other: We also bought other shoulder rest from sting zone; very easily returned and credited when we have found out that is not suitable, thank you!
