4/4 only high quality student outfit featuring instrument of solid tonewood with dark Antique varnish (please be aware the instrument is not high gloss, and has deliberate light scratches and wear to enhance the antique look).

An improved outfit for the more advanced student, it is carved from solid tonewoods with a carefully thicknessed front and back for enhanced sound and is fitted with ebony fingerboard, pegs, saddle and nut.

Features lightweight deluxe oblong case with Hygrometer and space for 2 bows, silver mounted Brazilwood bow. Fitted with Pirastro 'Tonica' strings. Set up and prepared for playing in our workshop.

If you would like a specific set of strings to be fitted then please call or email and we will be happy to advise. We would recommend a set of 'Dominant' strings by D'addario for this instrument. Please click here to add a set to your basket.

This means that the instrument is worked on & improved by the luthier in our workshop before despatch. We adjust the bridge & nut for correct height, curvature & string spacing. Tailpiece and pegs are adjusted for smooth operation. In the case of outfits, the bow is rosined and checked for smooth adjustment.
