Good quality product that mutes well.

Pros: Works well. I find it mutes well enough for me to practice in an apartment with no complaints as yet...

Cons: Previous reviews suggested it didn't fit. You do have to open it slightly but it fitted perfectly once that was done.

Pros: Effectively dampens sound and as an aside - may create some interesting tone colours in its on right (on some strings)

Cons: Can make intonation in some positions difficult to determine which may interfere with practice

Other: May leave some black rubber marks on your bridge but not a big deal - just something to be aware of when you first use it.
