Always use fresh rosin - it's worth it.

Pros: My earlier review still covers the basics, but I was recently struck by what a huge difference it makes to have really fresh rosin - easier bowing and much better tone. I've been replacing my Pops rosin annually, but I intend to buy new rosin more often now that I have a decent instrument and the benefit of fresh rosin is more noticeable.

Cons: No cons.

This good rosin makes such a difference.

Pros: Much softer and easier to apply to bow than previous lump which was too solid. Good, immediate 'grab' so very responsive when playing.

Cons: None.

Excellent soft rosin for bass bows

Pros: A good soft bass rosin with a good reputation (though not in summer weather in hot climates - doesn't apply to the UK!) However, it's not too soft and actually feels quite hard, but go easy as you may get more on the bow than you expect - or need!

Cons: None, it's fine.
