The market leader in professional grade orchestral strings. Set of 4 in medium tension. Choice of steel or gold plated E. Intense and brilliant sound with the widest possible dynamic range. These strings are best suited to advanced student and professional players and work best on high quality instruments.
Available in three tensions, Evah Pirazzi strings have a core made from a modern synthetic multifilament fibre which contributes to a very intensive and powerful sound. Ideally suited to orchestral and solo playing.
The strings have outstanding playability and exceptional response at any of the dynamic levels, a complex sound, rich with overtones based on a brilliant core sound and enormous projection.
Expressive, with great nuances and enormous dynamic range combined with outstanding tuning stability. These strings are absolutely insensitive to variations in temperature and humidity and are also suitable for electric violins or violins equipped with piezo-pickups
E-Goldsteel option: This string is more brilliant and powerful sound than the Silvery Steel E-string. This string has a different sound profile from Oliv and Obligato Goldsteel E-strings.

Pros: These are excellent strings which have a truly clear tone. They "bed in" almost immediately and, once in pitch, keep in tune almost indefinitely. They are hard wearing - I play in two amateur orchestras, a village ensemble and a string quartet. No other strings will do for me.
Cons: I have no criticisms of these fine strtings.
Other: I have been playing violin for sixty years and used Evah Pirazzi strings almost since they were first introduced. Cheaper strings are simply not up to the mark, for me.

Pros: Well, a semi-professional! These strings are the only ones that work with my violin, and believe me I've tried the rest. The sound is rich, clear, solid, and with plenty of oomph but not the brassiness of solo strings. Highly recommended.
Cons: They are expensive, and you have to be very careful not to yank at them when doing quick tuning or they go out of tune very quickly. By being careful, I've managed to keep my last set going for over a year.

Pros: They are very responsive and bright. The price is very good for a better quality string.
Cons: Found on the first playing they seemed a little too bright, but soon settled.

Pros: They are loud with a vert bright sound. I do appreciate the power and edge, and if you are playing concertos it’s great,
Cons: limited range of colour, I find them inflexible,The high tension requires one to press more, and they don’t blend all that well in ensemble

Pros: A 2 week settling in period is important - these strings change over this time. Compared with the previous Pirastro Eudoxa, these strings stay in tune brilliantly. They are brighter in tone than the Eudoxas - possibly excessively so on an open string but I find them to be generally a significant improvement. Anyone with a very 2bright" violin may find medium tone excessive. Bowing near the heel is easier as these strings "speak" more easily.
Cons: Price, obviously. I don't know how long these strings will last or how long their present tonal qualities will remain over a period of use - we shall see. Eudoxas tend to have a short life if you play a lot.
Other: Excellent service from stringzone - thanks.

Pros: Instantly brought out the complex harmonic content that I know the instrument is capable of producing, yet without having to work the strings up to it.
Cons: Little to dislike given the price: maybe shipping in a tube would be preferable?

Pros: Even across the strings, responsive, powerful in all registers and they produce a clear pure tone.
Cons: Quite expensive but worth every penny
Other: I would strongly recommend these strings to amateurs, students and professionals.

Pros: Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin Strings are perfectly suited to a brighter sounding instrument. They give a very clear and precise sound and they are specifically brilliant for faster styles of playing especially within traditional music. Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin Strings deliver a warm but bright tone and wether you are playing quietly or loudly the sound produced is incredibly clear. And, if you give it some beans, the strigs produce a frankly rediculous degree of volume on many violins. I would thouroghly recommend these strings to anyone.
Cons: Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin Strings do sometimes take a while to settle in properly.
