Really useful for orchestral or band work
Pros: It very effectively extends the "shelf" of ordinary music stands
Cons: Nothing - but being plastic it will not last forever.
Other: I have used one for years without taking care of it and eventually they snap in the centre - but can still be used in two halves if you are too poor to afford a new one. Ordered 2 this time - 1 in reserve for each music stand.

Pros: My music book kept falling off the music stand before I bought the ledge as there is so much music in it and the ledge holds it firmly now.
Cons: My music stand had arms to hold the music (there is another name for them but I can't remember what it is!). I removed them but it was difficult to push the ledge over the place where they had been, but I can manage to with effort.
Other: Excellent customer service! I didn't have to wait long from the time it was ordered online, to the time it arrived and there were no problems at all.

Does exactly what it is meant to do
Pros: Does the job perfectly, and helps to keep the stand more firm when using heavy or thick books
Cons: only downside is that because it is plastic my little magnets for holding music in place don't work, but as it is deeper they are needed less
