Description
Knilling Perfection geared pegs allow the musician to tune easily and accurately by use of the pegs alone. thereby eliminating the need for fine tuners on the tailpiece.
Choice of man made or wooden peg heads. The basic artificial head is matt black in colour. The pegs have a 4.1 gear ratio, meaning for every 4.1 turns of the peg head the shaft turns once. This results in easy, accurate and stable tuning. The pegs are fixed in place with no moving part in contact with the instrument. This means no wear on the pegbox and the pegs cannot come loose or slip.
The sizes listed relate to the diameter of the outside (larger) hole in the pegbox. The diameter of the peg selected must be a minimum of 1mm greater than that of the corresponding hole to allow for fitting.
