Excellent. Buy it!
Pros: I am very happy with my Jargar A Cello String. It has a lovely sound and matches my Jagar D. I would buy this make of string again from The string zone and would happily recommend it to all cellists.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like about the Jagar cello string, A.

found the following review helpful
Pros: Bought as present on recommendation from daughter's tutor ad daughter very impressed with quality of tone etc. etc. etc. went right over my head but it was obviously just what she'd been looking for!
Cons: na
Other: Excellent service, easy to use web site, kept me informed all through the delivery process.

Looking for a softer tone - only partial success.
Pros: It was a 'dolce' replacement, on my teacher's advice, for a Jarger 'brilliant' A. It didn't make a vast difference, but slightly softened the tone, which is what I wanted. Like all Jargar, it was quick to settle down and stays in tune well.
Cons: Perhaps not as 'soft' as I was hoping. This may be the 'cello rather than the string.

Very pleased, based on my infant knowledge
Pros: Better tone than my existing one, which was well worn and horribly tinny.
Cons: Didn't come with bridge protector ring, but I am new to this so don't know if I should expect one.
Other: Only had 10 lessons - still learning to bow properly, but am no longer afraid to touch the A string. Have confidence that it will make the best of my efforts!!
