Pros: First time I have fitted my own strings and it was pretty straightforward. Sound lovely. e-string nice and bright
Cons: Putting the ball end fitting on the e-string is a tad awkward. :-)

Pros: Well packaged. Thought I'd try alternative to Evah Pirazzi (i.e. cheaper!!) on my contemporary Scottish made violin.
Cons: Took couple of weeks to "settle" & hold tune - violin still requires more frequent tuning than I had experienced in the past. Tone OK but not as agreeable as the EP strings on this violin. Tendency to get whistling on E string.
Other: These strings look & feel OK but "not for me on this violin" - was interesting trial but I should stick with what were good / long lasting / very stable strings on this violin - or maybe I should have tried the Peter Infeld set. As in the past, The String Zone service was excellent.

Pros: So far (2 weeks in) they are the best strings I've ever used
Cons: Nothing
Other: I paid for the fast delivery and they arrived in less that 24 hours, couldn't believe it. I never purchase strings anywhere else. Fantastic shop :)

Pros: i had a violin that was to bright ,the man over the phone told me to put these strings on , it was perfect, it toned it down, just a fraction;i am a happy man, the strings respond well ,quick and clear ,just what you expect from a quality stings maker
Cons: nothing

Pros: settle in quick and ok mellow tone
Cons: dominants are better i tried infeld red on a new violin and an old amati and not a huge difference, dominants have more edge so i wasn't blown away by the reds but an ok string for the money they are more mellow sounding.than dominants.

Pros: These strings transformed my very good French fiddle (that I was not completely at ease with) into something very special.A softish feel to the strings and a kind of full bodied sound with a slight darkness to them (in my humble opinion) Smooth to use and long lasting (am on my second set !) the tonal quality is very special. The best strings I have used in my 15 years of playing.
Cons: Not really a 'dont like' but I am not so sure the gold plating on the E adds anything other than a nice bling look....................it wears off in a few weeks of playing.
Other: Well Recommended;for me........the best strings yet !!

Pros: They settled immediately and replaced Eva Pirastro strings on an 1835 Giuseppe Baldantoni violin. Much warmer tone and the Gold E string much more responsive on this instrument.
Cons: Nothing as yet. Really pleased with the difference they have made.
Other: Great service from The Stringzone and received very quickly.
