Hidersine Piacenza Violin Outfit

Your Hidersine 'Piacenza' violin is supplied as an outfit with an oblong, shockproof case with internal accessory compartments and an outer music pocket. This outfit includes a half-mounted Brazilwood bow.

Fully handmade from the traditional woods of Spruce, Maple and Ebony the Piacenza offers a great progression for enthusiastic learners. Your new Hidersine instrument will have already been inspected and setup ‘ready to play’ in our UK service workshops. This means that you can buy with confidence, take your new instrument along to your lesson and be ready to go right away.

Hidersine 'Piacenza' instruments not only have a solid top, but they also feature stunningly flamed maple ribs & backs too. These highly figured, solid tonewood sections further enhance the instrument’s natural tone. The top produces the instrument’s primary voice, and the back and sides add the character. This instrument is set up with standard Hidersine factory synthetic core strings.

This means that the instrument is worked on & improved by the luthier in our workshop before despatch. We adjust the bridge & nut for correct height, curvature & string spacing. Tailpiece and pegs are adjusted for smooth operation. In the case of outfits, the bow is rosined and checked for smooth adjustment.
