Using the finest, aged European tonewoods and high quality fittings and accessories, the 'Melodioso' violin outfit represents both superior quality and remarkable value. Hand carved, this instrument features traditional inlaid purfling and is finished with a shaded brown varnish and antiqued finish for a truly stunning and unique instrument. Suitable for improving students.

Fitted with Thomastik Dominant strings as standard, your Melodioso violin is supplied as an outfit, which is to say it is complete with what you need to get started. The instrument is supplied in an oblong, styrofoam case with internal accessory compartments and an outer music pocket.

The form of your Hidersine Melodioso violin will be the result of genuine hand-carving techniques. Not only have the intricate curves of the top, back and ribs been carefully tooled, but the neck and the beautiful scroll (head) has been skilfully crafted.

This means that the instrument is worked on & improved by the luthier in our workshop before despatch. We adjust the bridge & nut for correct height, curvature & string spacing. Tailpiece and pegs are adjusted for smooth operation. In the case of outfits, the bow is rosined and checked for smooth adjustment.
