Great quality, quick arrival, soapy water tip?
Pros: Great quality, did the job- much-needed intact tubes!
Cons: Could come with tips on how to attach them to shoulder rest feet. Without intense googling & finding of the hint "dip shoulder rest feet in soapy water" I would have had serious issues in getting them on.

Great product though lacks 'soapy water' hint
Pros: Great quality & crucial replacement for worn tubes.
Cons: No instructions inside packet - not really needed but impossible to get onto shoulder rest feet without dipping feet in soapy water, making it 100% easy. Through extensive googling found this tip otherwise would have been in trouble!

Useful for extending life of shoulder rests
Pros: This does exactly what it says. It extends the life of the shoulder rest by replacing the plastic feet tubes, which are always the first pieces to wear out - which risks scratching the instrument. Easy to fit, but need to push hard to get it on.
Cons: The cost of a piece of plastic tube might seem high (surely the real cost is less than 1p) but this is outweighed by the convenience of finding the part needed - worth paying for.
Other: Make sure you order the right part - there are others very similar for other types of shoulder rest. (But the String Zone was very helpful in changing my order when I realised my mistake.)

Parkinson's Disease. A new use for Foot tubes on

Pros: Prompt delivery of a very good product. An occupational therapist suggested that the foot tubes could be used on my husband's glasses to prevent them from slipping down his nose. He has suffered from Parkinson's Disease for nine years and has developed a stoop so this product has been useful in an unorthodox way.
Cons: Nothing.
Other: We hope that other sufferers of Parkinson's Disease might benefit in a similar way, as it took us a long time to find a solution. Your product has improved the slipping. Many thanks. I will be ordering some more foot tubes in the fullness of time.

Pros: Easy to fit
Cons: Nothing
Other: These rubber feet have a finite lifetime before they begin to split, and the rubber loses its grippiness, so the shoulder rest can fall off. They need to be replaced from time to time, it's inevitable!

Pros: Rejuvenated my shoulder rest and returned full protection to my violin, with the feet fitting perfectly secured once again. Applied with a very small drop of washing up liquid over the foot, made fitting easy and once given a wipe with a dry cloth to take away any excess lubrication, it has remained securely in position ever since!
Cons: Nothing really to speak of, other than they don't last forever, but what product does?

Pros: Obviously much cheaper than buying a new one.
Cons: Really difficult to put them on. used washing up liquid, but then they kept pinging off. Not sure the aggro was worth the saving.
