Description

Evah Pirazzi Gold strings have a synthetic multifilament fibre core. They produce a brilliant, golden tone with a full-bodied and big sound from the very bottom to the top of the register.

The great dynamic range of these strings allows skilled players to explore both the finest nuances of quiet passages and create powerful sonorities when playing close to the finger-board or using a strong bow arm.

Very short break-in time, even shorter than Evah Pirazzi and Obligato, combined with a very high level of tonal stability in all climatic conditions

Choice of G string windings. Gold G-string: This G-string is wound with a pure gold wire. It offers a round and full tone. Silver G-string: very dynamic sound which emphasises a more brilliant tone

4 x variations of the set, loop or ball E , and then gold or silver G.

NEW Stainless Steel E-string: It has an excellent response and generates a refined and smooth sound right to the very top of the register.

Multi strand synthetic core. Ball or loop end E. Ball end A, D & G. All strings are medium tension and full size.

Using a loop end E? The use of a protector to prevent the tuner hook breaking the string is essential with loop end E strings. We cannot accept claims for strings broken by the adjuster hook. Click here to purchase this item.

EP Gold - pump up the volume!

Pros: I was advised to try these strings in an attempt to give my rather quiet violin more oomph. They do appear to have provided a louder and more projecting sound, which was commented on by the professional coach when I was playing at a recent chamber weekend. He also played my violin to me and I was encouraged by the clarity and projection of sound.

Cons: The strings took a few days to settle and I was initially disappointed by the rather metallic sound on the G string. I was considering changing it for the more expensive gold G but it has now mellowed a little so I will wait to see if it works out.

Nice powerful strings

Pros: I like these strings, they are powerful. The golden G has a rich loud tone. I will definitely buy again but next time I am trying the silver G.

Cons: of course the price has to be the only negative (especially if you buy the gold G)

Good value for money

Pros: I am very pleased with the purchase, the strings make my violin sound a very expensive insrument,I certainly feel its been worth paying that little bit extra to get a quality product. I find also that they stay in tune very well.My dog does not cover her ears with her paws any more when I am playing, and sure she appreciate them as well.

Cons: I have nothing to say bad about them.

Other: I found the people at string zone very polite and helpful on the telephone,The goods arrived very quickly. I found this company a pleasure to deal with, and would certainly recommend them.

Best strings on my violin so far.

Pros: Lovely full, even sound across the whole instrument. Stopped harmonics particularly responsive.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Other: These strings are expensive but worth the price if you can bring yourself to splash out! I'm using the gold g string. Haven't tried the silver one I can't imagine it being any better!
